The adapters are used to clean the Air Intake System with our Clear Flow. A fine atomization of the air intake system cleaner (triple X) will be ensured. Effective cleaning of the air intake system, the valves, combustion chamber and the exhaust gas recycling system. This fast and inexpensive cleaning-procedure for petrol and diesel engines removes operational caused contaminations as well as produced deposits from the crank-case-ventilation-system. The impurities will be molecularly dissolved and burn in the combustion chamber.

Use of the S-Type Adapters at Diesel Engines
The new technique, using S-Type adapters, offers different possibilities of an individual (point exact) as well as a complete cleaning of the air intake system. This technique can be used with petrol and diesel engines.
Applications Engineering – S-Type-Adapter
For diesel engines, it is best to use the S-Type adapter! With the S-Type adapter you can use different connection types. Directly after the air filter, before the intercooler or directly before the air intake system! Connection is done very easy too. Open the hose connector (depending on your connection type) and bring the S-Type adapter into position (see picture). Push the loose hose above the connection tube of the intercooler for example and mount it with the hose connector to ensure leak-proof connection of the system.
Fill the Clear Flow with our product Triple X Diesel (Art.-No. P1975). Pay attention that all inlet valves at the Clear Flow are closed. After connecting the compressed air to the Clear Flow, adjust the pressure to about 2.5 bar (36 psi) and start the engine. Adjust the engine to about 2500 rpm using a gas pedal strainer. Now open the passage valves at the Clear Flow and start cleaning the air intake system. The cleaner will now be atomized and injected into the air intake system. After about 40 seconds, close the passage valves at the Clear Flow, because your engine will take a while to get used to the NEW conditions (inlet of the cleaner). Open the valve again and pay attention to the reaction of the engine. It must run stable at 2500 rpm. If necessary, repeat this step, open and close the passage valve several times! When finished cleaning, empty the Clear-Flow from all leftover liquid and place it into your accessories box. Now you should do a test drive!
After cleaning, we recommend the use of Engine Flush and a following oil change, to lastingly remove impurities from the crankcase and the oil circuit!
